As the designer of Kayhoma hospital socks, I've observed a number of issues with other brands in the market, which our product aims to rectify.
Inadequate Coverage of Non-Slip Particles: Many other brands have non-slip particles only concentrated in specific areas, such as the heel or under the toes, which could lead to slips and falls if the wearer shifts their weight onto a part of the sock without these particles.
Irregular Arrangement of Non-Slip Particles: The non-slip particles in many other brands are not arranged in a systematic pattern. This lack of a consistent pattern can lead to uneven friction, further increasing the risk of slipping.
Comfort Issues: Some brands use non-slip particles that can cause discomfort to the wearer. Users have reported feeling the particles under their feet, creating an uncomfortable sensation when walking. In some cases, this discomfort has led to abrasions on the sole of the foot.
Lack of Side Anti-Slip Protection: Most other hospital socks focus solely on front anti-slip protection. However, slipping can occur from all directions. By ignoring side anti-slip, these socks potentially expose wearers to unnecessary risk.
During our visits to hospitals and interactions with patients, nurses, and doctors, we heard firsthand the problems faced by users of conventional hospital socks. Complaints ranged from discomfort due to the non-slip particles, insufficient slip protection leading to accidents, and the inability to wear these socks for prolonged periods due to discomfort.
This feedback was instrumental in guiding our design for Kayhoma hospital socks. We wanted to create a product that was not only safe but also comfortable to wear for extended periods. That's why we implemented the full coverage of non-slip particles from toe to heel, and at a 45-degree angle, ensuring optimal protection against slipping in all directions.
Moreover, we used non-feeling particles that provide anti-slip protection without compromising comfort. The wearer can walk naturally without feeling the particles underfoot, thus enhancing comfort and reducing the risk of abrasions.
Our unique design approach results in socks that are both comfortable and safe, a combination we felt was missing in other products on the market. The distinctive design of Kayhoma hospital socks is a reflection of our commitment to improving patient safety and comfort in hospital settings.
