Don't wash cheap made thigh high socks!

This should be no problem if you buy a pair of holiday thigh high socks for parades, or for a party. They are disposable socks, so please don't wash them.

If you wash them, they are likely to fade. If it is only the fading itself, this is not a big problem. If you put them together with your light-colored clothes, then these socks are likely to stick the color to your other clothes, and they will ruin your clothes. So please don't wash them.

If you wash them, they may become deformed. These socks are usually woven from polyester or low-grade cotton. If your socks are woven from coarse cotton yarn, then these socks will face serious shrinkage. Because these cotton yarns are not pure, the degree of shrinkage of each part of the socks will be different, which will easily lead to deformation of these socks, which is completely different from the state of new socks.

If you wash them, they may fall apart. These socks may shed a lot of fluff, they will be distributed in every corner of the washing machine, you may need to spend more time to clean them. If you are unlucky, these socks may break down in your washing machine. So you'd better wash them by hand if you like these socks very much.

If you have a pair of thigh high socks that you are not sure whether you should wash them, please don't wash them. If they are dirty, the least costly way is to wash them by hand. Don't mix them with your clothes, and don't let these socks get into your washing machine.
